ABOUT JESS
Born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1990, now residing in Baltimore County. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in drawing with a concentration in Printmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2012. I live at home with my main squeeze, our two dogs, and four ferrets.
PAST
I entered college with a portfolio full of realistic charcoal drawings and graduated college with a series of large scale abstract colorful paintings and prints. While working for the URBN brand I have been able to work with a variety of materials including but not limited to paper, fiber, wood, plaster, pipe, metal flashing and wire.
PRESENT
I am currently working as a part time floral designer at Local Color Flowers, a Baltimore based florist who only sources locally within 100 miles of Baltimore.
